Elephant Waltz 2012
Come and join us for a wild and exotic evening! Elephant Waltz 2012 will be held at African Lion Safari Mombasa Market Restaurant, Saturday, April 21st. The evening will be filled with fabulous entertainment, live and silent auctions, raffles and a delicious gourmet meal. Guests will have an opportunity to mix and mingle with exotic animals and witness the parade of elephants feasting on their own special buffet - all just a few feet away while enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the patio. Tickets are $125 each, or you may purchase a corporate table of 8 for $1,000. ABBAsolutely Fit! - Get in Shape and Support the CDHS
Calling all Dancing Queens! Get in shape this winter with fun, unique, low impact fitness classes taught by Jackie Grainge, a member of an ABBA tribute band, and former host of "Energetics Workout" fitness show on Rogers Cable TV! Warmup, cardio, toning & cooldown, all to ABBA songs! The sessions will be held most Mondays starting January 9th from 7-8pm. Classes will run for 12 weeks with the last week of every month being held on Thursdays. Classes will take place at the Galt Legion, branch #121, 4 Veteran's Way in Cambridge. The cost is $100 for all 12 weeks, or you can drop in on any class for $10. Please wear clean exercise shoes, and bring water and a padded mat. All proceeds will be donated to the Galt Legion and the Cambridge & District Humane Society. For more info. please contact Jackie @ 519.622.2765

The Cambridge & District Humane Society receives proceeds from Charity run Bingo's at the Cambridge Bingo Hall. Our next sessions will be Saturday, Late Night Sessions in the month of May. Please come out and play in support of your local shelter! We can also use volunteers to help us staff these sessions. If you are interested please contact us.

Poochie Power Walk 2011

Thank you Cambridge Youth Soccer!
| Cambridge Youth Soccer held a Christmas Charity Coaches "Fun Game". They raised over $300, plus food and cleaning supplies for the animals here at the shelter. Thank you all so much for your support! |

ADOPTED!!!
 February 3, 2012. JEAN HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Jean has gone to a new home with someone who has been working at the vet clinic where Jean has been staying. We are very happy to hear that Jean is now in her forever home. We look forward to updates and photos that we will share with you as we receive them. We wish her love and happiness in her new home :)

King & Eagle Super Variety located at 328 King Street East in Preston are now selling Nevada Tickets in support of us. This constant support will bring in a regular monthly donation to the animals!
